Meet The L2L Team

Emily Bruce

I’ve been working at Language2Lead since January 2023. As a California Central Valley native, I grew up in a major agricultural area with a large immigrant population. In 2015, after graduating from the University of California, Davis, I started teaching English at a local Latino community center where the majority of my students were factory and farm workers. I am TEFL certified and CELTA certified.

As an English teacher, I make sure that all of my students are valued and respected and that clear expectations set them up for success in the classroom, at work, and beyond.

Robert Frischmon

I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish literature and the C.E.L.T.A. (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of other languages). I lived and worked (Universidad De la Externado ESL teacher) in Latin American countries. I was the internship coordinator and ESL business teacher at EF Miami. I worked for 14 years as the Spanish and ESL teacher for Riverview dairy. I have been to owner of L2L for over 2 years. I am passionate about help people break through the language barrier so that they can become leaders in their work, families and our communities .

Carmelita Joyce

I have a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Spring Arbor University. I have worked at L2L for one year. I have also taught English as a Second Language in person and online for almost 11 years. This experience includes working for Church World Service to teach ESL classes and support refugees in finding employment and business English.

I believe that pronunciation is a vital part of English language instruction. Even if the grammar is perfect, if the pronunciation is not clear, the speaker will unfortunately not be understood. I know that learning English can help students on many levels (economically, socially, etc.) and that is why I am passionate about what I do.
